His visionary leadership has laid the foundation for developing Karachi’s first model EQM-based school, aiming to bring structured and quality-driven education.
I, Faiz Ahmed Khan, Director of The NOVAS School, bring nearly two decades of experience in the education sector. Being UK-qualified and actively involved in Karachi’s educational network, I have worked closely to understand and address the core challenges of modern schooling.
Together, this collaboration reflects a shared vision — to provide students with not only academic excellence but also character building, life skills, and future readiness through a structured educational system.

Mr Rayed Afzal is a distinguished educationist, mentor, and Director of EAST Publications, with extensive experience in educational psychology, curriculum development, and system-based learning. He has worked with international organizations such as UNICEF, UNESCO, The World Bank, The British Council, and the Government of Pakistan, and has trained thousands of teachers while impacting over half a million students through innovative programs, books, and e-learning initiatives.
Under his guidance and patronage, The NOVAS School proudly operates as Karachi’s first EQM-based Model School, built on 134 structured processes. This complete system, implemented in collaboration with him and his team, reflects his vision of delivering quality education through creativity, life skills, career development, and character building—preparing students for real-world success.
